A lightweight minimalistic snipping tool for Windows 10 and up.
There’s quite a few of these snipping tools around but we truly believe that we have the best one. For years we have been searching for a simple snipping tool that allowed us to highlight in a straight line by pressing shift while drawing.
A rare few had this feature but they where all non-intuitive bloated nagware, they all seemed to fall victim to featuritis and they ended up doing tons of useless stuff that had nothing to do with snipping or highlighting. We were fed up so we rolled out our own and we are now happy highlighters.
Features:
- Allows you do draw or highlight in straight lines if you press shift while drawing.
- Allows you do pixelate stuff using the pixelating pen to preserve sensitive information.
- The pen can have a round, chiselled or pixelating tip.
- There is an eraser tool to remove the modifications you made by clicking on them.
- You can highlight rectangles if you prefer, it’s less addictive than highlighting but it could be useful.
- You can select flaticons for the interface if you want, the advantage is that you can customize their color, making them dark-theme friendly.
- It does not allow you to write text because we find mouse-drawn text funnier and this is not a text editor.
- It features a Windows integration that pops up a widget when you press a shortcut key so you can do all your clipping from there.
Well worth a couple of bucks, I get much more long lasting enjoyement and utility from this app than from any expensive 2$ cup of coffee.
